Ms. Madhu Wal, alumnus of the renowned Miranda House, Delhi University from where she did her Masters in English Literature, has had a very successful and illustrious teaching career. To enlighten the minds of children with her knowledge she began her teaching career at DPS East of Kailash Delhi in 1977. She has varied experience of having worked at premier schools in India like Lawrence School Sanawar, Mayo College Ajmer, G.D. Birla Memorial School, Lawrence School Lovedale, Swarnaprastha School, and Sonipat DPS Gandhidham (Kutch) Gujarat. She worked as the Head of English Department at Mayo College Ajmer and as the head of English Department & all cocurricular activities at G.D. Birla Memorial School. At Lawrence School Lovedale, Ooty, Tamilnadu she played multi roles. She was the Head of the Department of English, Executive Head of Houses (Boarding), Head of Curriculum Development and Round Square Representative. She was also a founding member and an educational advisor at DPS Gandhidham (Kutch) Gujarat.
With a view to spreading the light of quality education with focus on its diverse aspects in 2009 she along with her husband Mr. Harsh Wal, came to Dhaka to work for the STS Group. She has worked as Vice Principal at DPS STS School Dhaka since its inception and as Principal since 2020. Twelve years -from 2009 to 2021- seems a pretty long time but obviously not enough to take a school to the apex of success. Under her dynamic leadership the DPS STS School has risen to great heights and earned name and fame becoming a pace setter.
